SkB Architects Published in “The World’s Best Architecture” Book
SkB Architects has been selected for inclusion in Architizer’s The World’s Best Architecture, a global publication bringing together architecture and design from practices around the world.
The World’s Best Architecture surveys contemporary work across countries, scales, and project types, creating a record of ideas shaping architecture today. SkB Architects is proudly represented in the publication.
The inclusion places SkB Architects within a much broader international conversation about architecture and the changing ways people live, work, gather, and experience place. It is a conversation that reflects the range of our own practice, which moves between workplace design, residential architecture, hospitality, restaurants, civic and cultural projects, adaptive reuse, and urban development.
That range has never been about developing a recognizable architectural style and applying it to different briefs. Each project asks something different of us. A research workplace, a private home, a restaurant, and a piece of city each bring different constraints, expertise, and questions into the studio. What connects them is the rigor with which we look at what is already there, what is at stake, and what architecture might make possible.
Being published in The World’s Best Architecture puts that way of thinking in company with architecture being made around the world today.
