A brand becomes real when someone walks through the door. SkB Architects has worked with national lifestyle brands and local businesses long enough to know that every part of that encounter matters.
What catches someone’s attention from the street? What invites them inside? Where do they pause? How do they encounter a product, order a meal, or talk with someone who works there? We use those questions to uncover what is particular about a brand and give it physical form. Whether someone comes every week or once in a lifetime, the place itself can create a memory, or give them a reason to remember it and return.

Honoring the building’s public access commitments, the transformation redefined its atrium, corridors, and lobby—turning a once grand, yet impersonal space into a dynamic, publicly accessible hub for work and social connection.
An adaptive reuse of Seattle Center's landmark 1962 World's Fair Northwest Rooms, KEXP Headquarters reimagines the traditional radio station as a public cultural institution where music, broadcasting, and community converge.
